A Day in the Life of a Lionel University Student

Connect with your instructors and fellow students.

Classes are 100% online and managed through Canvas. Classrooms in Canvas are user friendly, easy to navigate, and have coursework conveniently broken down into weekly modules to keep you on track with your work.

Meet with your advisor to check in on degree progress and plan for the future.

Connect with your personal program advisor whenever you need guidance about classes, study tips, coursework, or anything else that might be on your mind. Advisors are there to make sure you have the tools you need to succeed.

Take time to review your textbooks and complete assignments.

On average, students should reserve roughly 10 hours per week per course for classroom instruction and study time. This isn’t busywork. Assignments are created to give you practical knowledge you can use to create a rewarding career.

Head to your externship for real-world on the job training.

Externships in the bachelor’s degree program are designed so that you work directly with a health and wellness industry professional who will provide the knowledge, advice, and skills to assist in your career development.

Each degree level is designed so that every student experiences real-world, practical application exercises such as case studies, externships, and research projects to prepare you for life after graduation.

I currently serve on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. I originally began my journey with Lionel U pursuing the Master Trainer certificate. Upon completion, I decided to continue my education and earned my associates in exercise science through Lionel University.
