The Master Trainer Certifcate Program is designed to fully equip graduates with a comprehensive foundation of both the science and practice of personal training, fitness nutrition, and fitness programming for special populations. The curriculum prepares graduates to properly assess, train, and motivate the general population, clients needing fitness nutrition coaching, and special populations.

Available Certifications

Graduates of the program earn the Master Trainer designation, plus 6 individual fitness certifications through ISSA.

Finish the program in as few as two quarters as an accelerated full-time student, or pace your coursework over time for up to six quarters.

*Certifications are issued by ISSA, LLC (an affiliated third-party). Lionel University provides a list to ISSA, LLC. of students who pass PTR251-PTR261 courses at the end of each quarter. ISSA, LLC. then issues the certifications via mail to these students. Lionel University does not own or operate ISSA, LLC., and is not responsible for the issuing of the certifications.
